Vertical Centrifuge uses centrifugal force to dry drilled solids in oil or synthetic base fluids. A stainless steel screen bowl traps “wet” solids and accelerates them up 900 RPM. Liquid is forced through the screen bowl openings, while “dry” solids are extracted by the angled flights attached to the cone, which rotate slightly slower than the bowl. Tungsten carbide protects the flights from abrasive solids and ensures long operational life. This aids in maintaining a constant gap between the scroll and screen bowl, which is crucial for proper operation.

Designs of vertical centrifuge:

1. Air knife is firstly installed the dryer which is consistently used for cleaning the screen during the work to prevent the viscous oil-based mud from blocking the screen. Precision design for angle and distance make sure air knife efficiently wipe out the sticky mud on the screen.
2. Cleaning pump will provide the high pressure water and vertical angle effectively to get rid of accumulated solids in the screen
3. Two augers are equipped at the bottom to continually transport disposal solids to the site which is suitable for handling a large amount of mud.
4. Oil cooling and lubrication system ensures the long operation life and reliable motor performance.
