Solids control shale shaker for sale in North America and Australia

Shale shaker is a vital component of drilling fluid processing system in many industries, such as coal cleaning, mining, oil and gas drilling. They are considered to be the first phase of a solids control system on a drilling rig, they are used to remove large solids also called cuttings from the drilling fluid, more commonly called "Mud" due to its similar appearance.

After returning to the surface of the well, the used drilling fluid flows directly to the shale shakers where it begins to be processed. Once processed by the shale shakers the drilling fluid is deposited into the mud tanks where other solid control equipment begin to remove the finer solids from it. The solids removed by the shale shaker are discharged out of the discharge port into a separate holding tank where they await further treatment or disposal.

The shaker screen is equipped on the basket of shale shaker, with three or four pieces screen panels, while the screen basket is driven by two sets of vibration motors which are mounted on the top of shale shaker with synchronization and contrary rotation. There exists one piece of eccentric block in the vibration motor. When motor works, the eccentric block also rotate. As there are two sets of vibration motors working synchronized, at some point, the vibration force that generated by the eccentric blocks is sum of these two blocks effect force. While at some point, the vibration force of motors would be zero.

When the viscosity of the drilling fluids increase, shale shaker process capacity would be reduced; while when the density of the drilling fluids increase, shale shaker capacity would also enhance. That is because when the drilling fluids flow onto the screen, the enhanced density would place some pressure on the screen, pushing the drilling fluids permeating the screen more quickly.

Centrifugal Pump offered for sale in Australia

An oilfield solids control system needs many centrifugal pumps to sit on or in mud tanks. The type of centrifugal pump is used as sand pump, submersible slurry pump, shear pump, and charging pump, all of which are important solids control equipments.  They are defined for their different functions, but their working principle is the same.

KOSUN centrifugal pump is a kind of newly developed pump matching to solids control equipment in petroleum, mine and drilling. It adopts axial suction structure and overflowing parts are wear-resistant cast iron. KOSUN Centrifugal pump is used for transferring drilling mud. It can be used as feeding pump for desander, desilter or used as mixing pump for Jet Mud Mixer. Also it can be used as trip pump, and supercharging pump for rig mud pump.

Features & Benefits of KOSUN Centrifugal Pump:
1. Tungsten carbide mechanical seal;
2. Impeller design that lowers axial thrust loads, and make it easier for installation, repair and maintenance.
3. Can be worked as feed pump for desander and desilter, mixing pump for jet mud mixer, supercharge pump for slurry pump of drilling rig.

Centrifugal pump basic components are high speed rotating impeller and fixed snail shell shaped pump casing. With several (usually are 4 ~ 12) back curved blades fastening on pump impeller axis, and with the pump shaft driven to do high speed rotation. The pump impeller is directly liquid in the work parts, are the centrifugal pump energy device. The pump casing central suction inlet and suction piping connections, suction pipe bottom with one-way bottom valve. Outlet beside pump shell connect wih outlet piping equipped with regulating valve.

Like most pumps, a centrifugal pump converts mechanical energy from a motor to energy of a moving fluid. A portion of the energy goes into kinetic energy of the fluid motion, and some into potential energy, represented by fluid pressure (Hydraulic head) or by lifting the fluid, against gravity, to a higher altitude.
